Frances L. Duffy

DUFFY, Frances L., 77, of West Warwick, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016 at Morgan Health Center.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Irene (Serpa) Duffy.  She resided in West Warwick for most of her life.

Fran was the co-owner of the former Electronics Unlimited for many years before retiring.  Her most enjoyable time spent was caring for her family, an avid bird watcher, supporter of wildlife, loved ceramics and crocheting.  She was an active member of the Church of the Apostles and a member of the Pawtuxet Valley Historical Society.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen E. Amaral of West Warwick; three granddaughters, Danielle, Alexis and Kristen; five great granddaughters and a brother, James Duffy of Cote, Wyoming.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at 10 am in the Church of the Apostles, 170 Fairview Ave., Coventry.  Interment will follow in St. Andrew & St. Philip Cemetery, West Warwick.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman St., Ste. 306, Prov., RI 02906 or Roger William Park Zoo, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Prov., RI 02907 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
