LAMOUREUX, Gerard E., 95, of Border Street, West Warwick, passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 at Elmhurst Rehab. & Healthcare Center. 

He was the beloved husband of the late Cecile M. (Credit) Lamoureux, at her passing they had been married for 64 years.  Born in Coventry, he was a son of the late Arthur and Delvina (Lamoureux) Lamoureux.  He was a resident of West Warwick for most of his life.

Mr. Lamoureux was a HVAC duct installer with Lutz Engineering for 35 years before retiring.   Following he worked at CCRI as a groundskeeper for ten years.  He was a WW II Army Veteran, enjoyed gardening and spending time making memories with his family.

He is survived by a daughter, Denise I. Mello; a son, David G. Lamoureux; a granddaughter, Lauren Mello; two sisters, Irene Knowles and Theresa Zwolenski and a brother, John Lamoureux.  He was the father of the late Dorothy Lamoureux and Diane Brown and brother of the late Dora Carroll and Leo Lamoureux.

His visitation and funeral will be held Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 from 8:30-9:30 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in SS. John and James Church Washington St., West Warwick.  Interment with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  Information and condolences, please visit: henault-gallogly.com
