Raymond F. Gaumond

GAUMOND, Raymond F., 87, of Lexington Ave., West Warwick, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at the RI Veterans Home, Bristol.

He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Motta) Gaumond.  Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late George and Ethel (O’Dell) Gaumond.  He resided in West Warwick for over sixty years.

Mr. Gaumond served with the U.S. Navy for twenty years before retiring.  He was a Korean War Veteran.

He is survived by a daughter, Patricia Gaumond-Sabetta of West Warwick; a son, Wayne J. Gaumond and his wife Amy Manchester of Wakefield and a step-grandson, Caleb Manchester. He was the brother of the late Edward, Clarence and George Gaumond, Jr.  The Gaumond family would like to thank the staff at the Veterans Home, Nursing Station N-7 & N-6 for the special care their dad received.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 9:00-10:00 am in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick followed by a funeral home service at 10:00 am.  Interment with military honors will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
