Rita G. (Rajotte) Parent

Rita G. (Rajotte) Parent, 88, of Warwick, formerly of West Warwick, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 at West Shore Nursing Center.

She was the wife of the late Armand Parent.  Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Lucien and Germaine (Leroux) Rajotte.  She lived in West Warwick for many years before moving to Warwick.

Mrs. Parent was an electrical inspector with Leviton Mfg. in Warwick for ten years before retiring in 1988.  Her greatest joy was caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She is survived by a son, David P. Parent of West Warwick; five grandchildren, David, Melissa, Joshua, Jerry and Derek; five siblings, Donald, Fernand, Paul, Doris and Ida.  She was the mother of the late Jerry, Russell and Dennis, grandmother of the late Armand and Dawn and sister of the late Lorette, Pete and Leo Rajotte.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at 8:00 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am in St. Gregory the Great   Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick.  Interment will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery.  Visiting hours Friday, Sept. 23, 2016 from 4-7 pm.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, 150 Cambridge Park Dr., Ste. 202, Cambridge, MA 02140 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
