Arleen M. (Josephson) Andruchow

ANDRUCHOW, Arleen M. (Josephson), 91, of Coventry, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Riverview Healthcare Community, Coventry.

She was the wife of the late John P. Andruchow.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gustave E. and Judith C. (Olson) Josephson.  She resided in Coventry for forty years.

Arleen was a nurse’s aide at the former Rhode Island Medical Center in Cranston, now known as the Eleanor Slater Hospital for many years until retiring in 1980.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cribbage, crocheting and was an avid bingo player.

She is survived by five sons, Richard H. Sage, Jr., Carl E. Sage, Sr., Steven J. Sage, Sr., David A. Brouillard, Sr. and John T. Andruchow; fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Ella R. Lowell, Amy D. DeWolfe, Ruth M. Beacom, Gustave E. Josephson, Jr., Francis H. Josephson, Earl C. Josephson, Eva A.L. Tyler and Doris V. Wilks.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick with Words of Remembrance at 6:00 p.m.   Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. (Please gather at 10:45 a.m. in the parking lot at the entrance of the cemetery and we will be escorted to the chapel.)  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Alzheimer’s Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 in her memory would be appreciated.
