Barbara J. (Olney) Leclerc

LECLERC, Barbara J. (Olney), 89, formerly of the West Warwick Manor, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, January 6, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at Roberts Health Center, North Kingstown.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Madeline (DeMars) Olney.

Mrs. Leclerc was a housekeeper at St. Joseph Church Rectory in West Warwick for over twenty years until retiring.  She loved spending time with family and enjoyed playing bingo and cards.  She was a member of the West Warwick Manor Resident Association.

She is survived by three children, David A. Olney and his wife Mary of Coventry, Denise N. Rainha her late husband Anthony of East Greenwich and Gary Leclerc of Cranston; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a great great grandson.  She was the sister of the late Lorraine E. Dowiot, Dorothy Pogonowski and Ralph E. Olney, Jr.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00 am from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence Street, West Warwick.  Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Pascoag.
