Constance "Connie" C. (Malloy) McCabe

McCABE, Constance C. “Connie” (Malloy), 85, of Cranston, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, July 3, 2019.

She was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. McCabe, Sr.  Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Robert J. and Mary C. (Pearson) Malloy.  She was a lifelong resident of Cranston.

She was a graduate of St Francis Xavier’s Academy and Johnson & Wales Business School. Connie enjoyed painting, needle point, knitting and ceramics. She always stayed current on the latest fashions and loved to shop. She devoted her life to her family and actively participated in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a familiar face at ice-rinks, soccer fields and baseball fields throughout New England.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy A. Ryan and her husband James of Cranston and Susan M. Doyle and her husband Liam of East Greenwich; twin sons, Paul J. McCabe, Jr. and his wife Margaret of Charlestown and Robert J. McCabe and his wife Margaret of Cranston; seven grandchildren, Kelly Waldron, Meghan Scholl, Conor Ryan, Maura McCabe, Liam Doyle, Brian Doyle and Joseph McCabe; seven great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Aidan, Brandon, Colin, Michael, Aubrey and Brayden.

Her funeral will be celebrated Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 9:45 a.m. from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, 15 Garden Court, Cranston.  Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Canton, MA.  Visiting hours Monday, 4:00-7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, RI Chapter, 205 Hallene Road, Suite 209, Warwick, RI 02886 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
