Eileen F. (Torvi) Hernandez

HERNANDEZ, Eileen F. (Torvi), 74, of West Warwick, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Emilio A. and Maria (Capone) Torvi.  She was a lifelong resident of Rhode Island.

Eileen was a former proprietor of a jewelry company for many years.  Her enjoyments included spending time with family, gardening, cooking, crafting and watching NASCAR.

She is survived by her three children, Maria-Elana Martin with whom she lived, Dawn-Marie Levo of South China, Maine and Craig A. Gorman of North Smithfield; a brother, Alexander Torvi of Cranston; a sister, Roseann Morales of Smithfield; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. with a service at 3:00 p.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick.  Interment will be private.  Arrangements with PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home.
