ARCHAMBAULT, George W., 83, of Coventry, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at Kent Hospital.
Born in West Warwick, a son of the late Talbot C. and Marie A. (Tetreault) Archambault. He was a resident of Coventry since 1961.
Mr. Archambault was an outside machinist with General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division in Groton, CT for thirty-eight years until retiring in 1996. He was a Korean War Army Veteran, an avid outdoorsman and loved his hunting trips to his home in Maine.
He is survived by two sons, Gregory C. Archambault of West Greenwich and Jason E. Archambault of Boston, MA from his first wife, the late Maxine A. (DiDonato) Archambault; a daughter, Koren “Korey” Fratus of West Warwick from his second wife, the late Sandra Wilson; a sister, Colonel Claire A. Archambault, US Army (Ret.) of Springfield, Virginia; four surviving grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Yvette Duclos, Donat Archambault and Allan Archambault.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 9:00 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 62 Pleasant Street, West Warwick.
