Arlene L. (Johnson) Hebert

HEBERT, Arlene L. (Johnson), 82, of Woodside Avenue, West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon, October 16, 2020 at Evergreen House Health Center, East Providence.

She was the beloved wife of Donald G. Hebert, they had been married for sixty years.  Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Walter W. and Pauline V. (Curtis) Johnson.  She was a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley area.

Mrs. Hebert was a manager of the domestic department at K-Mart in Coventry for ten years until retiring.  She was a graduate of West Warwick High School and in her younger years participated in the Warwick Drum & Bugle Corp where she played the bugle.  She was a member of the West Warwick AARP Chapter 2210, loved shopping and enjoyed sewing.

Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Lynda L. Garvin and her husband Donald of Coventry and Donna J. Carr and her husband Donald of West Greenwich and six grandchildren, Adam, Danielle, Austin, Mackenzie, Mason and Maggie.  She was the grandmother of the late Derek and Miranda Arlene and sister of the late June Fortier and Norma Fortier.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 4:00-7:00 pm in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick (All health and safety guidelines will be observed).  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the service and burial are private.  In lieu of flowers contributions to the Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts Street, Suite 100, Newton, MA 02458 in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
