Claire D. (Larocque) Phelps

PHELPS, Claire D. (Larocque), 65, of Westcott Terrace, 319 Providence Street, West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, September 24, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.

Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Edward A. and Doris (Sicard) Larocque.  She was a lifelong resident of West Warwick.

Claire loved spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen R. “Kathy” Elliott and her husband Dunkin of West Warwick, three grandchildren, Dylan, Jakob and Matthew; three sisters, Carol Peltier, Judy Faria and Dawn Ribeiro and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jeanne Travassos and Edward R. Larocque.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 10:00 am in SS. John and James Church, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick.  (RI COVID Guidelines will be observed).  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, visiting hours and interment will be private for the family.
