David Williams Obituary

WILLIAMS, David G., 81, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, September 17, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at home.

He was the beloved husband of Nancy A. (DiChristofaro) Williams, they had been married for fifty eight years.  Born in Providence, a son of the late Arthur R. and Doris E. (Chace) Williams.  He was raised in Warwick before moving to West Warwick many years ago.

Mr. Williams was a machinist with EG & G Sealol in Warwick where he was a supervisor for many years and then transferred to General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division in Quonset before retiring.  His most enjoyable time spent was when he was with his family and grandchildren.  He enjoyed golfing, gardening, fishing, singing and dancing and was an avid New England sports fan.

Besides his wife he leaves three daughters, Lori L. Lukowicz and her husband Leon III “Lee” of Naples, FL, Holly A. Grenier and her husband Robert of Coventry and Heidi Ribbing of West Warwick; a son, David G. Williams, Jr. and his wife Linda of West Warwick; five grandchildren, Brandon Ribbing and his wife Lindsey, David and Noah Williams and Dakota and Hunter Grenier and a brother, Arthur C. Williams.  He was the brother of the late Robert H. Williams.

His funeral service and interment will be private for the family due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
