Dorothy A. (Brochu) Fontes

FONTES, Dorothy A. (Brochu), 78, of Fiskeville, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

She was the wife of the late John M. Fontes, who passed away in September of 2004.  Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Raymond J. and Mary G. (Perriera) Brochu.  She resided in the village of Fiskeville for most of her life.

Mrs. Fontes was employed at School House Candy for twenty years until retiring.  She was a sweet lady who loved spending time with her family, enjoyed traveling, socializing and attending outings with her friends.

She is survived by her children, John M. Fontes, Jr. and his wife Mary of Philadelphia, PA, Julia D. Brazil and her husband Joe of West Warwick, Robert A. Fontes and his wife Annmarie of Foster and Anthony J. Fontes and his wife Alicia of West Warwick; five siblings, Raymond Brochu, Helen Brochu, Anthony Brochu, Edward Brochu and Rachel Swinford; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Theresa Young and Judith Arel.
