Glen A. Finnerty

FINNERTY, Glen A., 57, of West Warwick, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Kent Hospital after being stricken at work.

Born in Warwick, a son of Beth M. (Simpson) Finnerty of Coventry and the late J. Paul Finnerty.  He was a resident of West Warwick for most of his life.

Glen was a production technician at Toray Plastics, Inc. in North Kingstown for twenty-three years.  He enjoyed traveling to many horse races and was a great sports enthusiast.

Besides his mother he leaves a brother, Paul B. Finnerty and his wife Jean of Hope; two sisters, Paula M. McCormick of Coventry and Donna L. Gravitt of Warwick and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 5:00-6:00 pm in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a funeral home service at 6:00 pm (RI COVID Guidelines will be followed).  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 in his memory would be appreciated.
