Margaret "Peggy" L. (DelPadre) Roma

ROMA, Margaret L. “Peggy”. (DelPadre), 89, formerly of West Warwick, passed away peacefully under the special care of hospice Wednesday evening, January 18, 2023 at Alpine Nursing Home, Coventry.

She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio “Tony” Roma who passed away in 2021.  Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Isabelle (Leamy) DelPadre.  She resided in West Warwick for many years.

Peggy was employed as a bookkeeper with Specialty Pipe in Providence for many years until retiring.  She was a member of Christian Hill Community Church and enjoyed sewing and art.

She is survived by three children, William Tooher and his wife Silvana in North Carolina, Margie Moreau and her husband Jerry of Coventry and Robert Tooher of Warwick; a step-daughter, Denise Roma of Warwick; four sisters, Patricia, Mary, Carol and Kathleen; five grandchildren, Christine, Bill, Kellie, Stephanie and Jennifer and six great grandchildren, Hailey, James, Henry, Skylar, Kinsley and Silas.  She was the mother of the late James Tooher and sister of the late John, David, Donald, Barbara and Isabelle.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick  followed by a funeral home service at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Route 5, Warwick.
