Rosalie (Podgurski) Augustowski

AUGUSTOWSKI, Rosalie (Podgurski), 102, of West Warwick, passed away Sunday evening, May 10, 2020.

She was the beloved wife of the late Charles S. Augustowski and the late John J. Wegrzyn.   Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Magiera) Podgurski.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Wegrzyn) Morin and her husband Kenneth, Sandra (Augustowski) Pattie and her husband Ken and Charles Augustowski, Jr. and his wife Jean.  Loving grandmother of Beth (Morin) Holland and her husband Andrew and Scott Morin.  Great grandmother of Tyler Tyack, Theodore and Henry Holland Sister of Olympia Hattoy, and Vincent Podgurski.  She was the sister of the late Mary Lesniak, Veronica Benoit, Helen Chagnon, Bernice Gough, Frank J. and James A. Podgurski.

Rose was employed as an assembler at Amtrol, Inc. for many years until retiring and was a lifelong communicant of Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church.  She was Auntie Rose to many nieces and nephews and was called “Baci” by so many who knew and loved her.  She was a dynamic woman who loved her family, friends and her church.

Burial will be private and a Memorial Mass will be held in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington Street, Coventry at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church in her memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences please visit: www.henault-gallogly.com
