William D. Noel

NOEL, William D., 83, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Kent Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Diane J. (Lambert) Noel, they had been married for fifty-eight years.  Born in West Warwick, a son of the late George H. and Helen (Burke) Noel.

Bill worked as a Master Plumber for over forty years and also retired from Suburban Propane in Coventry in 2000.  He served with the U.S. Navy from 1956-1958 and was a lifetime member of the Phenix Sportsmen's Club where he served as President for 2 terms.

Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Scott W. Noel and his wife Michelle of Coventry and Gary D. Noel and his wife Laura of Nashua, NH; two grandchildren, Sara E. Noel and Scott Noel, Jr. both of Coventry and a sister, Caril Newell of West Warwick.  He was the step-son of the late Anna (Lamb) Noel and brother of the late George Noel, Jr., Judith Collins and Nancy Stanliewicz.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 am in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a funeral home service at 11:00 am.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to VNA Care New England Hospice, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886 in his memory would be appreciated.  Information and condolences, please visit: www.PrataGallogly.com
